Year End in Review!
GREETINGS! 2017 is coming to a close and what a year it has been. Cascade Commercial RE wishes you and your families a great holiday season. Team members Theresa Neal and myself have so many things to be grateful for - our own families, friends and business associates, but mostly we are grateful for YOU – all of YOU that have worked with us in such a great year. Here are some yearend observations: Ø Rents are up, yet slowing Ø CAP rates are down Ø Inventory is still low Ø More and more buildings charge for water/sewer/garbage Ø There has been some interesting government involvement in the City of Seattle and tenant rights/landlord responsibilities Ø People are still moving into Seattle like crazy! Ø 2018 will be a big year for apartment development. It is anticipated that 14,500 units will open up.
